The rules are:
1. Routes must not use
the same bit of road twice. It is permissible to cross
an already used piece of road by going over or under
by use of a bridge, tunnel or big ramp.
2.
Routes need not be completed in one go (were not sadists
here!), but they must be photographically documented
and mapped.
3.
You must send us the photographic documentation and
mapping (otherwise what's the point?) for us to verify
the route.
4.
That's it.
Once
you've devised a route, and cycled the combined length
of it simply email the details to us at onehundredchallenge@citycycling.co.uk
Naturally,
this being a competition, the first route in will win
a special edition t-shirt (can we get a 'wooooo!'),
but the fun doesn't stop there. The competition will
run until we pretty much get bored with it, and person
with the 100 mile route in the smallest town will also
be in the prizes.
And
if that isn't incentive enough to half-kill yourself
riding 100 miles round the town of your choice as the
weather approaches winter I don't know what is!
A
very very handy tool for planning your route can be
found here
and can also be used to send us a copy of your century.
And
one last thing....
Good
