The ‘Derailleur Code’ is a story that many people would rather you didn't read.

Whilst your bike is safely locked away for the night, a titanic struggle is unfolding between the forces of good (led by Professor Dawes) and the forces of evil (led by Der Bromptonaut an agent of The Brotherhood aka the Secret Folding Society).

The prize is nothing more or less than the future shape of cycling itself. The ‘Derailleur Code’ is also a story that certain people wilfully choose to ignore.

The pale Scandinavian daylight was showing above the treetops.
