.6th April 2008 - Sheldon Brown Memorial Rides

The death of Sheldon Brown last month was something of a shock to the cycling community, and has, perhaps inevitably, lead to a number of memorial rides taking place around the world.

The start of April sees one ride taking place in London, and another in Edinburgh.

For London a tentative route from Hyde Park has been devised, starting at 1pm. The ride is obviously free, but there may be some money collecting going on to go to a cycling charity (his family have suggested they would rather money was raised for reasons connected to his life, rather than his death).
