.ed's bikes

Some of us see our bike as a simple method of getting from A to B; others lavish attention on their bikes which borders on disturbing. Whichever camp you fall into drop us a line at mybike@citycycling.co.uk or visit the 'my bike' thread in the cc blog and let us know about your particular favourites - just as Ed has done this month.

.ed's litespeed
This is my pride and joy. It's only done about 160 miles and it generally resides mothballed under lock and key in the shed. I really enjoy riding it. It climbs superbly and although some critics have said that the frame has too much flex in it, I think it is plenty stiff enough for the riding I do and it smooths out undulating road surfaces nicely.
This is my summer commuter. It feels like a bit of a dead weight after the Litespeed because it is heavier and the frame although very very stiff, doesn't have any give in it at all. The more I have ridden it the more I have grown to enjoy it. I have a shorter handlebar stem to go on it for this summer. It's a good solid entry level road bike
