10
days is a long time in cycling
10
days I've been out of the saddle and it's driving me
crazy. Okay, so it's my own fault. If I hadn't cracked
a bone in my arm playing football I wouldn't have been
facing any time off the bike at all, but as it is I'm
off both the road bike commute-hack, and the fun, only-recently-built
mountain bike. And then to torment myself further I
have to edit the first issue of this new online cycling
mag. Brilliant...
So
for all you lucky sods out there without broken arms,
this is City Cycling - a magazine about cycling in the,
erm, city.
Divided
into 'we're-sure-it's-not-trademarked' sections of work,
rest and play there are articles on commuting to work,
reviews of new stuff, and bits on favourite in-city
play-spots. Throw in the occasional interview, a dash
of news, route guides (though the first was regrettably
delayed due to the aforementioned broken arm) and the
chance to write for future issues and what have you
got? That's right, an online magazine about cycling
in the city. Just as well that's what we were aiming
for really.
So
that's it. A brief welcome to our inaugural issue. Flip
through, enjoy, and come back next month. That's all
we ask. And buy a few t-shirts. That's all we ask. And
write to us at the addresses at the end of the mag.
That really is all we ask.
And
world peace. But only if you have time.
